Executive Director

Shelter from the Storm is seeking an Executive Director to lead our organization as we continue our mission of empowering survivors and building safer communities. Shelter from the Storm provides services to empower survivors in taking a leadership role in their own lives while working to transform our community's understanding and response to domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, and human trafficking. We do this through advocacy, emergency supportive services, prevention work, education, support groups, outreach, and community collaboration.

The Executive Director serves as the chief executive and leader of the organization, working closely with staff, the Board of Directors, community partners, and funding agencies to ensure high-quality services for survivors. This position oversees organizational operations, financial management, grant funding, staff leadership, strategic planning, and community engagement.

We are looking for a compassionate, mission-driven leader who is organized, collaborative, and passionate about supporting survivors and strengthening our community. Experience in nonprofit leadership, social services, grant management, supervision, and financial oversight is preferred.

Salary: $55,000–$60,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications
